Ok guys, we’re back with a new recipe that will definitely satisfy any and all snack cravings. There is really nothing more delicious than a warm piece of bread with dip. So why not combine the 2? YUP – we made HUMMUS BREAD and it's DELICIOUS!
Best part: we were able to make this yummy loaf of bread with minimal ingredients, and it doesn’t take much prep! We’ve received a lot of comments so far from people trying our recipes and really appreciating the quicker ones, especially when they only have limited time to prep! So roll up your sleeves, and let’s get bakin’!
What you’re gonna need:
2 cups self-rising flour
¾ cup hummus
1 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
2⁄3 cup milk
1⁄4 cup vegetable oil
What you’re gonna do:
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a loaf pan and set it aside.
- In a large bowl mix together the flour, salt and garlic powder.
- Mix the remaining bread ingredients in a separate bowl then add to the dry. Stir once or twice then add the hummus to the mixture. Mix until combined and pour into the pan.
- Bake for 40 mins. It should be golden brown on top and a knife inserted in the center should come out clean. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before removing from pan.
