Guys we LOVE salmon! Salmon is one of our favourite meals to try different flavours on because of its ability to transform into different tastes for different settings and moods. Our pomegranate and orange flavoured salmon incorporates some of the light and fruits tastes of summer, giving the salmon a rich taste like we’ve never experienced before. We’re certain this will be one of your summer go-to dinners!
Marinate salmon in all ingredients for 1 hour before cooking.
What you’re gonna need:
1 orange, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoons pomegranate juice
1 inch fresh ginger, grated
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pinch red pepper flakes
1 pound wild caught salmon
fresh basil for serving
What you’re gonna do:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Combine the pomegranate molasses, pomegranate juice, sweet chili sauce, ginger, garlic, and a pinch each of red pepper flakes and salt in a small bowl.
- Add the salmon to the center of the pan. Spoon the pomegranate glaze over the salmon. Transfer to the oven and roast for 10-20 minutes or until the salmon has reached your desired doneness.
- Top the salmon with pomegranate arils and fresh basil.
